(HURON EAST, ON) – A male wanted for Breach of Probation charges has been taken into custody following a traffic stop on December 9th, 2015. At approximately 2:40 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed the wanted male in the passenger seat of a Hyundai sedan that was travelling westbound on Huron Road near Division Line.
A traffic stop was completed and the wanted male was placed under arrest. A search incident to arrest found the male to be in possession of Methamphetamine, Cannabis Marihuana, a prohibited weapon (“flick” knife) and drug paraphernalia.
Justin RILEY, 25 years of age from Huron East has been charged with the following offences:
Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Methamphetamine) for the Purposes of Trafficking contrary to section 5 (2) Controlled Drugs & Substances Act.
Possession of a Schedule II Substance (Cannabis Marihuana) Under 30 Grams contrary to section 4 (1) Controlled Drugs & Substances Act.
Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon contrary to section 91 (2) Criminal Code.
Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to section 733.1 (1) Criminal Code – 3 Counts.
He remains in custody with a video bail court appearance scheduled for December 23, 2015.
