Barbara VOGTLAENDER – Drunk Driving

(TINY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 27, 2015 at approximately 9:26 p.m. officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated an incident involving an impaired driver.

A call was received that a motor vehicle had struck a stop sign on Crossland Road in Tiny Township then continued driving. Officers located the vehicle a short distance from the scene. The female driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested by police.

As a result of the investigation, the driver identified as Barbara VOGTLAENDER (age 49) of Tiny Township has been charged with:

Driving While Ability Impaired contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

Driving with More than 80 mgs. contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

She was also served a 90 day Automatic Driver’s Licence Suspension and her vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland, Ontario on January 14, 2016.
