(LAMBTON, ON) –On Monday January 4, 2016 at approximately 10:00 a.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Arkona Road, Town of Thedford, Municipality of Lambton Shores which resulted in Criminal Charges and a Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA) seizure.
OPP observed a suspicious motor vehicle travelling on Arkona Road within the Town of Thedford. A traffic stop was initiated and during this stop the officer immediately recognized the male driver as a suspended driver. The male party was arrested and during a search, the officer located a small quantity of pills within the motor vehicle being operated by the accused.
22 year-old Chad Ray WILCOX of Bosanquet Township, ON was consequently arrested and charged with:
Fail to Comply with Recognizance (3 Counts)
Fail to Comply with Probation Order (3 Counts)
Possession of Schedule III Substance
Drive While Under Suspension (2 Counts)
The accused was held for a bail hearing and will appear in the Sarnia Ontario Court of Justice on Tuesday January 4, 2016.
