(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers were advised of a possible impaired driver south bound on Brant County Road 18.
At approximately 4:08 p.m. Thursday October 17th, 2013, an officer located a black Mazda pickup truck on Phelps Road. While the officer was talking to the male driver, she could smell the odour of alcohol. The officer gave the driver the Roadside Screening test. As a result of the test, the driver was transported to the Brantford City Police Service for Intoxilyzer Tests.
A 22 year old male from the County of Brant is facing the following Criminal charge
Care and Control over 80 milligrams
The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on November 1st, 2013 to answer to the charge.
