On December 8, 2015 members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service arrested a Cambridge male for a number of pharmacy robberies in Cambridge and Brantford in the last month. A second male was arrested for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and was found to be in possession of Fentanyl patches Hydromorph-Contin, and Dilaudid pills. Subsequent to the arrest, police executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a Cambridge address. Further quantities of Fentanyl, Hydromorph-Contin, and Dilaudid were seized. Arrested and charged in connection with the subsequent search warrant were three adult females and another adult male, all Cambridge residents. All six were held in police custody pending show cause hearings. They face a number of Drug and Criminal charges. Waterloo Regional Police are committed to working in partnership with the community to curtail illegal drugs and drug activity.
