Guelph Police are looking for the Public’s Assistance

On December 13, 2015, at 2:35 a.m., the Guelph Police investigated a motor vehicle collision that occurred near the intersection of Charles Street and Woolwich Street, just south of London Road. A 24-year-old female was injured at the scene, she was transported to the Guelph General Hospital and succumbed to her injuries.

The Guelph Police Service have initiated a criminal investigation into the circumstances of this collision and are looking for the responsible driver and occupant(s). The vehicle involved in the collision had been reported stolen from the Eastview Road and Starwood Drive area prior to this incident.

Occupant(s) from the stolen vehicle fled the scene on foot following the collision. Based on the severity of the collision, it is possible that the driver and occupant(s) of the stolen vehicle sustained injuries.
