(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On January 15, 2016, just before 5:00 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a complaint of a Nissan Altima that was parked the wrong way at the rear of the westbound OnRoute Service Centre in Tilbury.
Officers located the vehicle and spoke with the driver who was inside the idling vehicle. While the officers were speaking with the driver, 44-year-old Lisa SAHADEO, from London, it was determined that she had been consuming alcoholic beverages.
Subsequent tests indicated that the driver was over the legal limit and she will appear in a Chatham court on February 17, 2016, to answer to the following charges:
Care or Control Over 80 mgs.
Care or Control While Impaired
