(JOLY TWP, ON) – On January 27, 2016 at 2:16 p.m. members of the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a snowmobile collision. The motorized snow vehicle collision occurred on the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) trail C105D near River Road in Joly Township.
The snowmobile drove onto the soft snow along the edge of the trail and vaulted off a mound of snow and into several trees.
Brian Bradley, 55 of Machar Township succumbed to his injuries at the scene as a result of this collision.
The Technical Traffic Collision Investigator (TTCI) attended the scene and determined that speed was a factor. A post-mortem has been scheduled.
