(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On January 27, 2016, at approximately 4:35 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were alerted to a possible impaired driver travelling erratically on Glendon Drive.
Officers located the silver GMC pickup truck parked in a business parking lot on Glendon Drive, near Komoka Road.
Officers determined the male driver had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.
As a result of the police investigation, 43-year-old Gregory MANSFIELD, from Warwick Township, Ontario, has been charged with care or control while impaired (alcohol), and fail or refuse to provide sample 254(3) alcohol/blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear, and is scheduled to answer the charges before the London courts on March 10, 2016.
