(PEMBROKE, ON) – On the evening of February 01, 2016 an Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on patrol in the City of Pembroke when the officer observed a male pedestrian who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The male was arrested by police and found to be in possession of drugs and a quantity of cash. As a result 46 year old Michael Jeremy Leonard ST PIERRE of Pembroke now faces a charge of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamines, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA). He was also charged under the Criminal Code with one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000.
He was held for a bail hearing on February 02, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.
