(ESPANOLA, ON)- On February 4, 2016, members of the Espanola Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were dispatched to a theft occurrence at a business situated at Highway 17, in the town of Massey.
Investigation revealed that a passenger car had stopped to fuel and a male individual had left the gas station without paying.
As a result of the investigation, police were able to locate the suspect vehicle and initiate a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 17 and Highway 6, in McKerrow.
Justin Lounsbury, 25 years of age, from Alberton, Alberta, was arrested and charged with: Adult – Theft under $5000, contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola, on March 15, 2016, to answer to his charges.
