On February 7th, 2016 it was reported to police that sometime overnight on the 6th – 7th a skidoo and trailer were stolen from a residence on the 2nd Concession in Augusta Township. A 2002 Yellow Skidoo, 800 CC MXZ and 2002 Titan Trailer were taken. Investigation continues.

Town of Prescott
On February 7th, 2016 just after 9:00 pm police stopped a 2002 Dodge for a traffic violation on Prescott Centre Drive in the Town of Prescott. Following a short investigation police seized marihuana and drug paraphernalia from inside the vehicle. The driver an 18 year old male from Augusta Township has been charged with Possession of Marihuana under 30g and is to appear in Brockville Court at a later date.

Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township
On the 7th of February 2016 police were conducting stationary radar on the 401 Highway monitoring eastbound traffic at Merwin Lane. Just before 9:45 pm a vehicle was clocked traveling well over the speed limit. Police stopped the vehicle at 401 eastbound just before Cardinal after it had reached a top speed of 171 kilometers an hour. The driver a 44 year old male from Quebec was issued a Summons to appear court at a later date. The vehicle was impounded for seven days for stunt driving.
Breach of Probation

Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township
On February 6th, 2016 just after 2:00 am police stopped a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe on County Rd. 2 in Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township for a Highway Traffic Act violation. Investigation led to the seizure of drug paraphilia. The passenger in the vehicle admitted the items belonged to him. A 21 year old male from Edwardsbugh/Cardinal Township was subsequently charged with Breach of Probation and is to appear in Brockville Court at a later date.
