North Huron councilor bill ‘ss’ knott went off on another rant directed at town staff, and tried to lecture them on how the Animal Control system works by offering hearsay and “made up facts”. He rambled on about rogue OPP officers shooting wildlife, an invasion of wildlife, and about a door-to-door “dog count” to make sure the Public isn’t lying to North Huron about the number of dogs they have.
This backfired spectacularly as town staff had to correct bill ‘ss’ knott about the lies he just arrogantly spewed forth as “facts”. It was quite comical to see bill ‘ss’ knott squirm in the incompetence and lies he just vomited forward.
It is not known why bill ‘ss’ knott choose to attack town staff in such public forum, as the alleged issues he brought up should have been directed to the CAO or Clerk for resolution before trying to humiliate them in Public. Councillor bailey did a similar thing and got a gag order. Councillor knott runs the show and does as he pleases, while vincent cowardly lets bill interrupt anyone without consequence or apology.
While bill ‘ss’ knott was being humiliated and corrected by town staff, members of the Public gallery literally were laughing at knott’s ignorance. Despite knott’s fanciful tales of working with rebel groups in South America and claims that numerous government agencies wanted to recruit him to be a super spy, he seemed completely oblivious to all the cameras in the room that were capturing his humiliating incompetence brought to light by town staff.
In an attempt to save face, he mumbled and spewed forth more nonsense and rudely interrupted town staff, as reeve vincent had no control of the meeting. Reeve vincent apparently had major problems understanding how to run his new tablet and the CAO had to spend a good portion of the meeting helping him. Just like the old days when cao gary long would help vincent by using his finger to point at the words in the agenda, and move it to each new word, much like a parent teaching a child to read. Reeve vincent was so distracted throughout the meeting, the CAO had to get him to pay attention to what was going on several times.
