(SUDBURY, ON)- On February 6, 2016, members of the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance at the Atikameksheng First Nation.
Investigation revealed that a couple was arguing at a residence where the female allegedly assaulted the male.
A 26 year old female was arrested and charged with the following offences:
Adult – Assault – Spousal, contrary to the Criminal Code (2 counts)
Adult – Assault with a weapon, contrary to the Criminal Code
Adult – Uttering threats – Cause death or bodily harm – Spousal, contrary to the Criminal Code
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on March 4, 2016, to answer to her charges.
