(SUDBURY, ON)- On February 5, 2016, members of the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) established a R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Drivers Everywhere) initiative on Highway 144, in the City of Greater Sudbury.
At approximately 11:23 pm, officers had occasion to check a southbound vehicle occupied by a male who stopped at the R.I.D.E. program.
During the vehicle stop, it was determined that the driver was under suspension.
As a result of the investigation, Michel JAMEUS, 34 years of age, from Azilda, was charged with: Driving while under suspension, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on February 29, 2016, to answer to the charge.
