(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On February 15, 2016 at approximately 3:21 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) together with the Grey Highlands Fire Department responded to a report of a shed fire on Grey Rd. 13 just south of Kimberley in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
The shed, which was destroyed, measured approximately 12’ x 16’ and was used to store wood. Ashes from the woodstove inside the shed was believed to have caused the fire. There were no injuries reported.
As the fire was close to the roadway, Grey Rd. 13 was closed between Grey Rd. 30 and the Artemsia-Euphrasia Townline temporarily for emergency responders.
