Multiple Break-Ins On Rainbow Beach Drive

(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On February 17, 2016 Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a report of suspicious activity on Rainbow Beach Drive, north of Leith, in the Municipality of Meaford after several footprints were observed around the various, mostly seasonal/temporary residences, in the area.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a total of nine properties had been broken into sometime between 10:30 p.m. on February 16th and 7:30 a.m. on February 17th by at least two unknown suspects. Two vehicles had also been entered. Property stolen included four televisions, a WII gaming console and some loose change.

Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information which may assist police, to contact the OPP at 1-888310-1122.
