(PEMBROKE, ON) – Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on routine patrol in the area of MacKay St. in the City of Pembroke, when they observed two individuals walking at approximately 2:36 am on the 21st of February 2016. As a result of further investigation the following Criminal Code charges were laid against the two adults:
18 year old Nichole Boone of Pembroke has been charged with:
• Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Theft Under $5,000 – 5 counts
22 year old Terry Turcotte of Pembroke has been charged with:
• Fail to Comply with Recognizance – 2 counts
• Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Uttering Threats – Damage Property
• Mischief Under $5,000
• Theft Under $5,000 – 5 counts
Both individuals were held for a bail hearing on the 21st of February 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Pembroke.
The public is reminded to remove valuables and or to lock unattended vehicles.
