(COLLINGWOOD, ON) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a motorist as a result of a vehicle stop in Collingwood.
On March 5 2016 shortly before 1:00am, an officer on patrols conducted a vehicle stop on Saint-Marie Street near Simcoe Street. Interactions with the male motorist found that he was under the influence of alcohol which led to a roadside breath test and resulted in a ‘fail’ reading. As such he was arrested and transported to Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charged is 27 year-old Nicholas KITCHEN of Collingwood. He is facing a charge of driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on March 15 2016.
