QUESNELLE – Drunk Driving

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 8, 2016 at approximately 2:30 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. program at the intersection of Jones Baseline and Eastview Road, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A female driving a Mazda approached the program and performed a U-turn. Police stopped the vehicle and believed that alcohol had been consumed by the driver. A roadside screening test was administered which resulted in a fail. She was arrested and transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.

Her driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.

44-year-old Lori QUESNELLE of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 Mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. She is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 8, 2016.
