(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – On March 13, 2016, at approximately 1:17 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were travelling westbound on Dundas Street when they observed a driver delay turning left on a green light, then cutting off an oncoming vehicle.
A motor vehicle stop of the grey Honda car was conducted on Veterans Memorial Parkway. Officers determined that the 34-year-old female driver had been drinking alcohol.
A roadside screening device was administered, and the driver registered a “fail”. She was arrested, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.
As a result of the police investigation, Knogkham PHOUTTHARATH, from London, Ontario, has been charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to appear in a London court on April 27, 2016, to answer the charge.
