(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Brant Road at Highway # 5 at approximately 2:25 a.m. on March 18, 2016 after being alerted to the vehicle.
Police determined through investigation that the driver had been drinking alcohol and the male driver was arrested.
OPP investigators have charged 23-year-old Brock DAWDY of the County of Brant with driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date to answer to the charge. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.
