(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment and Haldimand County Fire Department are currently investigating a house fire at a Brookfield Boulevard (Blvd), Dunnville, Haldimand County, ON address.
Today, Friday March 18th, 2016 at approximately 7:20 pm Emergency Services were called to a house fire on Brookfield Blvd and upon arrival found that the house was engulfed. The fire was brought under control and extinguished within a few hours.
The house sustained significant damage from the fire.
A female was located inside the house with serious injuries. She was treated on scene by Haldimand County ambulance and then transported to local hospital. She was then transported by air-ambulance to a Hamilton area hospital, where she remains in serious condition.
The Office of the Fire Marshal will be attending the scene to conduct an investigation into the cause of the fire.
