(GEORGIAN BAY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Friday March 18, 2016 at 11:10 a.m. an officer from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a motor vehicle travelling at 157 km/hr. in a 100 km/hr. zone on Highway 400 in Georgian Bay Township.
As a result of the traffic stop, Amanda SCOTT (age 40) of Peterborough has been charged with stunt driving in relation to excessive speed. Her driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days and her Volkswagen impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Penetanguishene on April 21, 2016.
