(PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, ON) – On March 12, 2016 at 8:55 am on duty police officer with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment came across a fully engulfed residential fire located on Main street, Picton, (Prince Edward County). Prince Edward Fire Services and EMS attended. Three (3) of occupants made it out safely. All three were transported to Hospital and treated for smoke for inhalation. Twenty-Five (25) year-old Zachary DUBOIS was located deceased.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
The investigation is continuing.
