(SUDBURY, ON)- On March 28, 2016, the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting stationary radar enforcement on Highway 17, in the City of Greater Sudbury.
At approximately 11:55 a.m., an eastbound passenger car was observed travelling at a high rate of speed and as a result was stopped for “Stunt Driving”.
The driver, Brandon McINTYRE, 23 years of age, from Stoney Creek, Ontario, was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused driver’s licence was suspended for seven days and the vehicle he was operating was impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on May 2, 2016.
