(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On March 19, 2016, at approximately 4:31 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a possible impaired driver.
Police located the motor vehicle, a grey Ford car, on Westchester Bourne, near Donnybrook Drive, and determined the male driver had been drinking alcohol. He was arrested, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests, which revealed he had consumed more than three times the legal limit of alcohol.
As a result of the police investigation, 53-year-old Edward FRANK, from London, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on May 3, 2016.
