Remains Of Three Dogs Found On Side Of Road

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment is investigating an incident at a Concession 2, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at approximately 1:46 p.m., police received a call from a concerned citizen after they observed animal remains on the side of the roadway.

Through the course of investigation it was determined that a resident located animal remains on Sunday, March 27, 2016 which appeared to be of three (3) dogs. The remains appeared to have been on the side of the roadway for some time however they were subsequently removed and properly disposed.

Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. If anyone has information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.

The OPP are reminding all community residents to contact the police immediately if suspicious persons or activity is observed.
