(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently on the scene of a fatal crash.
At approximately 6:24 a.m. on April 14, 2016, police were alerted to a single motor vehicle crash on Vanneck Road near Thody Lane.
A dark coloured BMW car was travelling south-west bound on Vanneck Road, when it left the roadway and rolled, coming to rest in a field on the south side of Vanneck Road.
The male driver, and single occupant, is deceased.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are attending to assist with the investigation.
As a result, Vanneck Road is closed between Gainsborough Rd/Nairn Road and Coldstream Road. Motorists will have to find alternative routes.
This investigation is in its early stages. An update will released when more information becomes available.
