BIRON – Drive While Suspended

(SUDBURY, ON)- On April 11, 2016, the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting stationary radar enforcement on Highway 17, in the City of Greater Sudbury.

At approximately 10:52 a.m., an eastbound vehicle was observed travelling at a high rate of speed and police initiated a traffic stop.

As a result of the investigation, it was found that the male driver was under suspension.

The driver, Frank BIRON, 33 years of age, from Garden River First Nation, was charged with: Driving while under suspension, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on May 16, 2016.
