(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – On April 20, 2016, at approximately 6:15 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an incident involving a male pinned by a tractor.
Police attended to assist emergency medical services, who were alerted to an 82-year-old male on Shiloh Line. The male had been outside on a rural property the prior evening, when he became trapped under a rear tire, between the tractor and a hydro pole, at approximately 9:00 p.m.
The male was transported by air ambulance to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. His injuries have subsequently been reported as non-life threatening.
The investigation has been turned over to Ontario Ministry of Labour.
