BAPTIST – Drunk Boating

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 28-year-old male after police were called to a Hydro Street East, Dunnville, Haldimand County, Ontario address.

On Saturday, April 30, 2016, at approximately 5:10 p.m., alert citizens contacted police about an operator of a vessel at the Dunnville Boat Club. Police arrived on scene and located two males at a vehicle that had left the boat ramp after loading a vessel onto a trailer.

As a result of investigation, police have charged 28-year-old Alexander John BAPTIST of Wainfleet Township, Ontario with impaired driving, driving over the legal limit, operating a vessel while impaired and operating a vessel over the legal limit.

He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
