19 Year Old Arrested For Trafficking Weed

(CALEDON, ON) – On Thursday, May 5, 2016 officers from the Street Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Caledon Detachment, were on duty in the Village of Bolton when they observed suspicious activity taking place at the corner of Queen Street North and Sterne Street.

As a result of their investigative techniques and police surveillance, officers were able to conclude that a male party was conducting illegal drug transactions to some persons who were attending this location.

Subsequently, Andrew David BAMBER, 19, of Bolton was charged with 2 counts of Traffic Schedule II Substance- Cannabis Marihuana under 3 kilograms.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on June 6, 2016.
