(PETAWAWA, ON) – On the afternoon of Sunday May 15, 2016 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received erratic driving complaints regarding a black Jeep that was being driven in the Petawawa area. Police located the vehicle on Victoria Street in Petawawa and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and as a result 30 year old Dustin GREEN of Laurentian Valley Township was charged with Impaired Driving – Alcohol, and Driving with More than 80mgs of Alcohol in his Blood contrary to the Criminal Code. He was also charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) with Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine.
His license was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days. He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear on June 07, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.
