DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(North Glengarry) – On May 16, 2016 at approximately 4:28pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Lochiel Street, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult female and her ex-boyfriend resulted in the male being assaulted. The accused also caused damage inside the home.
The 18-year-old female from North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault – Spousal
– Mischief – Domestic
She was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on June 14, 2016. Her name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
THEFT OF VEHICLE
(South Stormont) – Overnight (May 15-16, 2016) between midnight and 2:00am, a black 2001 Volkswagen Jetta with silver hood and trunk, bearing Ontario plates BZBH686 was taken while parked at a residence on Manning Road, South Stormont Township.
An investigation continues.
