(Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Drug Enforcement Section arrested two males in the City of Peterborough yesterday just after 5:00pm.
Members from the OPP Drug Enforcement Section members observed a drug buy on Parkhill Road and Auburn Street in the City of Peterborough. As a result of this ongoing investigation two males were arrested and charged.
A 43 year old male from Otonabee-South Monaghan Township is charged with:
Possess proceeds of crime under $5000
Possession of a schedule I controlled substance (cocaine)
Possession of a schedule I controlled substance (Percocet)
Possession of a schedule II controlled substance (cannabis resin)
Trafficking a schedule I controlled substance (cocaine)
The accused will be in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough later today for a show cause hearing.
An 18 year old from Peterborough, ON is charged with:
Possession of a schedule I controlled substance (cocaine)
Possession of a schedule I controlled substance (cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking.
The accused will attend Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on June 09, 2016.
