(OLIPHANT, ON) – On May 22, 2016 at 6:05 pm., the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received call from a concerned citizen regarding a black Ford F150 driving erratically from Sauble Beach to Oliphant.
Police attended and found the driver to have been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was administered which resulted in a “fail.” The driver was arrested and transported to the Bruce Peninsula OPP Detachment for further testing.
Benjamin Jacob SCHULENBERG, age 22, from Haldiman County has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his system. The vehicle has been impounded and his driver’s licence has been suspended.
He is scheduled to appear before the Owen Sound Court of Justice on June 2, 2016, to answer to the charges.
