(Tillsonburg, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and the Norfolk OPP have charged a Tillsonburg woman following a one week child pornography investigation.
On May 5, 2016 police from the Norfolk OPP Detachment received a complaint in regards to a female in possession of child pornography on a cellular telephone device. The OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit was contacted to assist with the investigation. As a result of this investigation, police seized two cellular telephones, two laptop computers and one external data storage device. The devices are pending further forensic analysis.
On May 11, 2016 police arrested Linda CLIFFORD, age 52 years, of Tillsonburg Ontario. She is charged with one count of Making Child Pornography, one count of Distributing Child Pornography and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
The accused was released on a recognizance of bail with conditions. She is schedule to appear on May 31, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe Ontario.
The investigation is continuing.
