(SUDBURY, ON)- On May 23, 2016, members of the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) established a R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Drivers Everywhere) initiative on Highway 17 at Long Lake Road, in the City of Greater Sudbury.
At approximately 4:48 pm, officers had occasion to check a vehicle occupied by a male driver who stopped at the R.I.D.E. program.
As a result of the investigation, it was found that the male driver was under suspension.
Dillon RIDLEY, 25 years of age, from Thessalon, was charged with: Driving while under suspension, contrary to 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on July 4, 2016.
