(DRUMMOND, NORTH ELMSLEY TWP, ON) – Officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue to investigate a collision between a car and horse trailer that occurred on Sunday 29th May 2016 in Drummond , North Elmsley Township.
Police were called at 7.38pm to Highway 43 near Stone Road, where a west bound Mazda car had struck horse trailer being pulled by an east bound pickup truck causing the trailer to roll on to its side.
Hwy 43 was closed to traffic for approximately two hours and detours were in place.
The car driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The two horses in the trailer received minor injuries.
