(JOHNSON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On May 31, 2016, at 4:57 p.m., members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 17 in the Desbarats area.
Police attended the scene and determined a cube van towing a trailer was westbound on Highway 17. The vehicle had left the highway, rolled and came to rest in the westbound ditch.
As a result of the investigation, Gurdeep GREWAL, 28 years of age from SCARBOROUGH, Ontario, was issued a provincial offence notice and charged with: Careless Driving, contrary to section 130 of the Highway Traffic Act.
