(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 29-year-old male after checking a vehicle at a Turkey Point Road, Turkey Point, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Friday, June 3, 2016 at approximately 4:35 p.m., police were conducting a R.I.D.E program (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) in the area of Turkey Point Road and Front Road when a vehicle was stopped at checked for driver sobriety.
As a result, police have charged 29-year-old Richard Arthur BOMBERRY of Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation, Ontario with the following offences.
Driving while disqualified
Obstruct peace officer
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
