On June 10th, 2016 at 5:30 p.m., a collision occurred on Trussler Rd at Hwy 7/8 in Kitchener involving a car and a motorcycle. A car exited Hwy 7/8 turning South onto Trussler Road directly into a path of a northbound motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to Grand River Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the car was arrested for Impaired Driving, Operating Over .80. In addition the driver of the car was found to be in possession of a large quantity drugs including, MDMA, Methamphetamine, Cannabis Resin, LCD, Magic Mushrooms, and Heroin which resulted in 3 counts of Possession for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and 3 counts of Possession under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. The 50 year old male driver from Kitchener will be attending a bail hearing.
