(LONDON, ON) – Investigators from the West Region Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit have charged two people in relation to theft from Canada Post mailboxes.
Sometime between January and March 2016, OPP investigated several incidents in which mailboxes had been pried open and personal information stolen from inside.
As a result of an extensive investigation by Huron County, Wellington County and South Bruce County OPP along with the assistance of the OPP Regional Support Team and Canada Post, police have charged 35-year-old Tracy Lynn DOLMAGE and 34-year-old Richard Lloyd CUTTING from St. Patrick Street in Fergus Ontario with the following criminal offences;
43 x Theft from Mail
14 x Possession of Credit Cards
18 x Identity Theft
7 x Possession of Identity Documents
1 x Mischief Over $5,000
Both accused remain in custody at this time.
