(LEAMINGTON, ON) — On June 8, 2016 at 3:25am members of the Essex County OPP Street Crimes Unit, Essex County OPP Drug Enforcement Unit and Essex County OPP canine Unit executed a search warrant on Foundry Street in the Town of Leamington. During the course of the search warrant the following items were seized;
18.2 grams of cocaine with a street value of $1820
32 grams of marijuana with a street value of $320
9 Nabilone pills (synthetic Marjiuana)
2 grams of cannabis resin with a street value of $100
Numerous knives, brass knuckles and an imitation firearm
$7380 in Canadian currency.
Two Leamington men were taken into custody as a result of the search warrant.
Donovan Fulgencio, 20 years old, of Leamington was charged with obstruct a Peace Officer contrary to section 129(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Steven English, 51 years old of Leamington was also charged with the following offences:
Possession of schedule I drug for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of schedule I drug
Possession of scheduled II drug under 30 grams
Possession of scheduled I drug
Possession of scheduled II drug
Possession of scheduled III drug
Fail to Comply with Undertaking
Possession of a weapon contrary to prohibition order
An arrest warrant has been issued by the Ontario Courts for Alicia Moore, 37 years old of Leamington, where she will be facing numerous Controlled Drug and Substance Act along with Criminal Charges.
