(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Street Crime Unit along with the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit and members of Norfolk County Detachment have arrested and charged a male and female with drug offences after executing a search warrant at a Nixon Road, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, June 16, 2016, members of the Norfolk County Street Crime Unit attended a Nixon Road address and executed a search warrant.
During the course of the search warrant, police recovered a quantity of illicit drugs and Canadian currency totalling approximately $18,000 dollars.
As a result, a 33-year-old female and a 38-year-old male were taken into custody without incident.
Charged with the following offences is 33-year-old Krystle POYNER of Norfolk County, Ontario:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Marihuana.
Produce Marihuana.
Possession of Cannabis Resin.
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Charged with the following offences is 38-year-old Martin Frederick LUTZ of Norfolk County, Ontario:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Marihuana.
Produce Marihuana.
Possession of Cannabis Resin.
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to a Prohibition Order
Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
