Adam ROOSE – Drunk Driving

(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – On June 17, 2016 at approximately 8:45 p.m., the Strathroy Caradoc Police Service (SCPS) alerted the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) of a suspect vehicle which failed to remain, after being involved in a collision which occurred in SCPS jurisdiction.

Officers located the vehicle on Main Street, and determined the male driver of the blue Chrysler van had been drinking alcohol. He was arrested, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.

As a result of the police investigation, 28-year-old Adam ROOSE, from Southwest Middlesex, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released from OPP custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and turned over to SCPS. He is scheduled to answer the impaired driving charges in a London court on July 14, 2016.
