(GEORGIAN BAY TOWNSHIP) – A member of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on June 19, 2016 at approximately 4:10 a.m. on Lone Pine Road in Georgian Bay Township.
Upon speaking to the male driver, the officer determined that he had been consuming alcohol and subsequently made the demand for a roadside test. The result of the test was a fail. The driver was arrested for over 80 mgs and transported to Barrie OPP detachment for further tests. As a result of the tests the driver Bryon LEGAULT (age 28) of Barrie, ON has been charged with:
Driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on July 7, 2016 in Midland, ON.
