(NORTHEASTERN MANITOULIN AND THE ISLANDS TOWNSHIP, ON) – At approximately 8:45 a.m., on June 17, 2016, a member of the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 6, at Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands (NEMI) Township, Ontario.
As a result of the investigation, Jordan Andrew STEINKE, age 24 of Valley East, Ontario has been charged with possession of cannabis marihuana, contrary to the section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and with several Highway Traffic Act of Ontario charges.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Gore Bay, Ontario on July 18, 2016.
