(North Kawartha Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate after deceased male was located in a wooded area near Bayshore Road, on the east Shore of Chandos Lake after 5:30 pm last evening.
This sudden death is currently under investigation by the Peterborough County OPP Crime Unit under the direction of the Office of the Chief Coroner.
A post mortem examination has been scheduled for later today at the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto.
